Hi to everybody

My name is Mike from Indiana. I am the proud owner of more than 14 Benzes. The oldest is a 1953 Adenauer and the newest is a 1994 E 320. I always drove German mostly Mercedes and VW- Audi I owned sevral BMW's but there is nothing like a Benz. Was in Africa back in the 80's was rear ended by a Renault dump truck going at a 120 Km per hour. My 1980 250 MB took a serious hit that smashed the whole trunck compartement to the rear seat
The impact shook the living hell out of me but was fortunate was not hurt. The damage on the dump truck was incredible..... Looking back if I was in another car I would have probably be dead or badly injured..........plus I still own a 1986 MB w 126 420 sel that has over 32o000 miles.......and is still running.....

Hello Mike and welcome to the forum. I am sure that there will be great interest from your past and present experience with MBenz ownerships over the years. Since you happen to currently own a w126 you might want to jump in down int the w126 subsection of this forum. It certainly is one of the most lively forums on this board with some of the most knowledgeable members that you could find all in one place. I have learned more from the w126 forum than I could ever learn from just reading books about our cars.

Again, welcome and see you on the w126 forum!
