E220 Coupe Issues

I have a 94 E220 Coupe which is a pleasure to drive. I am however starting to have a few issues which I would be very greatful if any one could point me in the right direction.

1/. Indicators - The indicators while they still work have slowed down. i.e when i turn them on the on/off it is alot slower then usual and sometimes does not work at all. Is this more likely a battery issue or a bi-metalic issue ?

2/. The aerial no longer raise out of the car. Looks like the motor has gone. Can you suggest where I can get a manual/spare to have a look at this.

I m a novice when it comes to mechanics so I would like if at all possible to solve this problem myself and as such your help would be much appreciated.

Regards,
Malachy

1. Is that the case for both left and right indicators or is the issue limited to one side? Also, when you turn on your hazard flashers, does the flashing rate also seem slower?

2. Have you checked the fuse?

In answer to Q1. The indicators on both side slow as do the hazard lights.
Q2. I will have a look at the motor for raising the aerial. Thanks for you help on this appreciated.

Malachy

Have you done the easy thing and changed the bulbs?
