I have searched for information and tips here in the past and all have been very helpful. Now i need some help. I own a '01 C320 W203 on 18" Mandrus Regenmeisters (chrome).
I was removing the MAF meter to clean sensor, but this time i accidentally broke the brake booster vacuum hose at the manifold. I purchased new one for 79.00. Unfortunately i am having trouble removing the piece that broke in the manifold, more specifically it is inside what appears to be a hard plastic (not metal) piece that swivels and is attached to manifold. Inside is a plastic sleeve and the brittle plastic that goes inserted from vacuum hose. The new one that i bought did not come with sleeve or flange clip, only the white plastic nipple attached to hose. As I tried to remove the inserted broken piece, it slides out a bit and rotates inside, but it is so brittle, it has now broken into smaller pieces and won't slide out. Also any advice on how to remove the other end at the booster would also be helpful.
