Maybe it is OK by you, but they raised the price by like 30% in last 2 months.

Yeah I guess for you guys the price has hiked but I'll take it for even $200 since that is just 1/4th of the price we pay here in Pakistan ....

They had it priced wrong in their system, and have corrected it. The typical dealer price is around $200. I just noticed my local dealer had a sign up about keys and remotes, identification required, due to theft issues. This applies to the "parts purchasers" and repair facilities. MB is clamping down, there have been some whose car was stolen while in church.

My car's first owner only handed in one key when he made the sale. So when I purchased a third key from MB, I made sure that they cancelled the code on the first key so that he (or his buddies) could not use it to steal the car later.
