Anyone with bad experience with Park Place Bodywerks in Dallas besides us?

has anyone else had to have something fixed at park place bodywerks in dallas, texas?

wifes 07 C230 was rear ended by an 07 tundra and shoved under an 08 focus while sitting at a light. total in damages right at $16k. not sure why insurance didnt just total it out but oh well.

so, it was there for a month at bodywerks, they called to say it was ready. we went out and it looked like crap. paint runs, rough tape edges, fisheyes al lover, buffing compound all over etc. i refused it then, they acknowledged it looked bad too. (oh yeah and overspray on trim and the wheel they snet out for refinishing). so the next week they say they had everyone look at it. i went to get it, yes, it looked better. it was also cloudy. when i got it home and a chance to go over it i found alot more little things. im doing a diminished value claim as well and our insurance company came to the house and found more stuff too.

so it went back yet again. this time for three paint runs, bare metal where paint was chipped off on trunk lid (that was brand new by the way), rough tape edges, scratches all around the fender bolts where they replaced stuff, molding on bumper where a plastic tab was actually bent backwords and sticking out, etc. to top that off, another wheel was scratched, which they said they didnt do. (i have photos of the accident scene where it wasnt scratched, and photos in their own shop where it wanst scratched). also, somehow they managed to scratch the window tint on all four doors. not sure if it was done due to dirt on that felt or what but it was there.
the biggest thing wsa swirls and clearcoat scratches all over the whole car that looked like they used paper towels to wipe it off.

so.....they finaly agreed to fix the wheel even though they say it was done by the wrecker....then they still wouldnt take the blame for the window tint and had one of their drivers take the car from dallas to the fort worth dealership where we bought it and had them send it back out for a retint on the lifetime warranty due to scratches.

bottom line, today i got it back and it looks good. still a couple of minor things i feel should be done better but overall its acceptable by me since i know u cannot get it 100 percent back to factory.

so my question is, how many of you have had issues or even positive dealings with them? we arent ever going back to them, ever. and that sucks. because on this caliber of vehicle we'd like to be able to take it back to the dealer's shop if something happens so now that means we will be shopping for our next car someplace other than park place even though we have loved the sales and service aspect of it.

i just have a bad taste in my mouth from them now and i doubt it will go away.
