Post Hello please help Diesel leak and AC problem

Hi Guys,
I am new to Benz world. I find it hard to believe something like this exists. I have owned a C220CDI for 4 years now. I got it from an Auction, and could you believe it, it was being sold by Mercedes Benz Daimler UK. It was in a very bad shape for a 3 year old .Already done 57k miles and only properly serviced once, with ocassional oil change. It had a suspension problem. bulbs going off every week, suspect electrical problem as well.

In short, I now have the AC light on the EC botton permanently on. This means the AC has packed up. I have recharged the system with gas, and cheked for leak. No leak in the system. Can you tell me what the problem was.?

Last week I had diesel leaking from the distributor pump on to auxiliary belt. Car now sitting on my garage. Too afraid to drive it for fear of fire risk.
QUESTION-will i have to chand the pump, or is just an o ring in the pump gone?. What do I do? has this car been in an accident? How can I find out?
