Bluetooth Help!

Just purchased my Mercedes. Of course, the sales rep told me it was Bluetooth compatible; but failed to mention the necessity of a cradle and/or interface module. My LG is not compatible with the module based on the list; but on EBay or other spots, it seems many/any phones are. What's my best option to access my Bluetooth option without spending the $1000 the dealer is asking?

The dealer cannot be asking $1000 for the BT adapter alone or the phone cradle if the car actually does have the MHI connector.

Which MY is the car?

You might still want to use your current phone even if it was not fully compatible, it should work otherwise but the phone book download might be an issue.

Perhaps yes, I did not find the owner stating the model year and I don't remember when E350 sales started.
