"M-B European Delivery Program" Badge on my 300E

My 1989 300E has a "Mercedes-Benz European Delivery Program Stuttgart-Germany" Badge on it.

It's a Three owner car so,I may try to find the original owner and see if it really was a European Delivery Program car and get the original owners story.

Not that it makes the cars anymore special than any other, but it would be neat to have more history on the car and the first owners delivery experience.

They probably have photos of the car at the pick up point or sometime during the trip and they should also have at least a letter/documentation of the delivery/return of the vehicle to the U.S..

I've known military personnel with shipped cars from Europe, but that's a bit different.

Running the VIN (should be a non-US one) through the Russian Mercedes Club and it will tell you where the car was delivered to.

To my knowledge European delivery cars are US models, juts legally delivered in Europe for some time (like 3 days) and than shipped to US as used, what cuts taxes in huge amount.
Fact that somebody is seeking history on the car from 10-year ago would be sign of love IMHO
