Exclamation A/C -Heater

I have a 2000 ML320, the problem I am having is the heater stays on all the time. If I turn on the A/C it still blows out hot air. The air is always HOT like it is stuck on max hot. Any thoughts on what might be our problem.

This might help:
Mercedes-Benz M-Class Climate (1998-2001)

If not, try posting this on the w163 forum. A search of that forum might help as well.

Welcome to the forum, benzfam. Please take a minute to click the user cp link and complete your BW profile as that is often very useful information.

You'll probably get better results if you post in the forum specific to your model, the W163, and you'll find it down under the trucks/vans/suv heading. This general forum is just that, broad things of interest to all mb owners.

In this case it sounds like the duovalve is stuck or broken, I'd try cleaning it first. Same procedure as that for the W210, there is a pictorial DIY for it in the W210 section.

If you have basic skills you can do this yourself.

Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg
