Parts prices...

We all seem to complain from time to time about parts prices for our fine cars. $60 discount price for a motor mount? What ??

My mom has an older Camry that needs motor mounts. has them in stock and there are three of them, the cheapest is $68, the most is $87.

Luckily she has the automatic, the ones for the manual are $93 to $108 dollars each.

Good grief!!

Take care and enjoy the ride,

While there are countless examples, there are some instances where there's a reason for a particular price. For instance, in the W201 and W124 cars (probably others) the motor mounts are liquid filled damper to reduce engine vibration, which is not only comfortable for the passengers, but also reduces the transmission of vibration to the plastic radiator necks. I've found that OEM mounts last twice as long as the "OEM-Like" ones.
