1993 190e timing chain guide

I am removing the cylinder head from my 1993 190e 4 cyl
I need to remove the timing chain guide to free the timing chain and remove the head. the gude is held by two places and not sure how to remove these pins? Are they pulled out by a puller or do they screw out?

The plastic chain rail guides are held in with pins that are pushed in, not screwed. You'll need to use a slide hammer, threaded into the threaded hollow pin and tap it out via the slide. Some have fashioned their own DIY tool using a long threaded bolt with washer and a drive socket acting as the slide.
