Oxygen sensor location - 2000 E320

My P0141 heater circuit failure, Bank 1, Sensor 2 OBD code indicates a need to replace my O2 sensor "downstream" from the catalytic converter. How do I find it?? From the engine compartment I can see the right & left sensors on the exhaust manifold but where are the others?? I am correct that it is somewhere on the passenger side?

You're in the wrong section, head over to the E Class side of this page for quick answers, also use the "search" feature for immediate answers. Your issue has likely been discussed. Just search the terms you listed but also ask your question on the W210 board. Good luck.

You have cat converters on the pipe from each side of the engine.

There's an O2 sensor before and after each cat. In the exhaust pipe, of course.

If you think that's you're problem, you're very likely mistaken, however.

Lot's of times it's the MAF sensor, and of course if that provides an improper mixture all kinds of things downstream can present errors.
