Hi, I'm NEW here

Hi guys and gals! I'm Johnny and have a 2000 ML 320. My email is johnlescar@yahoo.com.

Yesterday my ML 320's steering wheel was so very hard to turn, so I called Mercedes roadside service and he came this morning. Turns out the belt was completely out of the pulley. So he reattached the belt and the steering wheel is ok now. However he said that the pulley was askew (it seemed a bit askew to the right when I looked at it look at it from the passenger side) or misaligned because a screw or bolt near the bottom of the pulley somehow came off causing the pulley to be misaligned. So it's possible for the belt to come off again.

He suggested that I don't drive it and get it towed to the dealer or a shop because there might be other reason other than the above that cause the belt to come off.

Any advise?
