Ebay Warning = deutschepartsusa

deutschepartsusa

Stay away from this seller!

I bought a "Front end kit" from them, first it took 3.5 weeks to ship, then when I opened them, they were NOT OEM (they were Hamburg-technic for the record...JUNK!) Even though his ad clearly says "OEM"

If I didn't desperately need the parts (parked the car because of ball joints today) I would demand a refund.

Wanted everyone here to get a heads up.

Thanks for the heads up as I was considering purchasing the same kit. After I read your post I checked his feedback on ebayand noticed no feedback about this product. Why haven't you given any negative feedback on your purchase?

I did. I noticed it got buried because he sells so much stuff. The next day it was already on the next page. My ebay name is "nhcomic"

He tried to claim there was a problem with customs getting one part in. Whether that was true or not, I'm not sure. Doesn't matter, he LIED about the OEM claim. What else does he lie about?

Thanks for the tip. There are a couple of reports on the MAF units from eBay on another forum that are represented as OEM Bosch but are really chinese aftermarket junk.

I too baught a front end kit from him for a 79-300CD I am trying to get tight before I tag her, My Front End parts are all Hamberg Technic also, The boots on the Ball Joints are really firm, Not alot of flex..I didn't think the hard boots would last very long so I baught mercedes lower ball joints because they are such a pain in the butt to get pressed in, The rest of his kit I will use and see how long the boots last..I told Ebay he was listing as OEM and selling Pep Boys quality parts, It was over 6 months ago and I guess Ebay lets him slide, Expensive lessons like that make me want to go postal..My parts box was stuffed with mexican newspapers ?? WHO KNOWS..Good luck with yours..

I've seen a few things by them advertised as OEM when they clearly weren't. Ebay can be a source for great deals, but it can also be a money disposal. MB parts there are often higher than a parts store or dealer...and without the warranties and service you get from a regular store front.

It really is buyer beware.

I sent an e-mail to ebay as well. Nothing. I guess they are fine with liars as long as they make money.

...they should be careful, that's class-action potential.
