Cleaning Brake Calipers

Is there any product to use or to go somewhere to get brake calipers cleaned to look fairly good as new? My 2007 S600 has the standard brake calipers that come with the car, that read "Mercedes-Benz" across them. Problem is, after a while, they start looking dull and almost to point rusty (couldn't find a better word). They're not the grey they were. Is there any method to cleaning them or products to use, because regular car washes aren't working. Maybe a high pressure gun? I've been told to get them repainted. But them problem with that is, I want them to still read "Mercedes-Benz." I know, it's not a big deal or anything. Just curious.

Not sure if your problem is dirt, or chalking of plastic decals.
Assuming the second, use Formula 303

I would try a good, non-caustic wheel cleaner like P21S, or the one from Griot's garage and a soft brush. They are meant to remove brake dust, which you more than likey have on your calipers.
