Car got Keyed!

Hi Everyone,
God I am so mad, someone keyed the trunk lid of my 2007 E Class. I am beyond angry. I park in a shared parking lot for all the people who work in my building. I normally give the car a good look over every day because I'm weary of all the stupid teenagers who hang around the parking lot.

I just noticed this morning two scratches going across the trunk lid. This car is leased and I have to give it back in a few months. UGH! I think most of it can come off through a detail but not 100% sure.

Thanks for listening. I get so mad when jerks disrespect someone's property like that. I take pride in my car and in driving a Mercedes-Benz so it really makes me angry someone would do something like that!!!

I wish the car alarm would be extended with cameras following "objects" approaching too close to the car. Would be nice to catch those people who do this kind of damage. Did the parking lot have any surveillance cameras?

I hope it gets fixed well enough when detailed, specifically if you don't have to look at it too long any more.

Sadly enough the company leases the parking spots from a Church of all things. A lot of juvenile deliquents hang around that area.

I feel badly. Even though it is a leased car, it's a Mercedes and I respect it for all that it is. I'll get it fixed properly but it makes me think twice about bringing the S Class to work...

Actually I'm working on a system like that! My main drive for that is in case of accidents that the camera might film what really happened.

But I'm also looking into buying a Accident Data Logging device but haven't found anything yet.
