Resetting service B message on 2007 S550

Hello everyone
Does anyone know how to reset the service B message My first service A was reset with a procedure found on line Since then I have had a software update and that procedure no longer works. I found a procedure on this forum which differs from my original but that doesn't work either. I called MB dealership and they said they would charge me to reset it. It's not the money it's the principle Besides my dealer is 50+ miles away
Thanks in advance

Is that information no longer in the owner's manuals? It used to be in there.

it is diferent for each car but if you put the key in position 1(the first click) put the display to miles and press the reset button 3 times. the service screen will come up. select confirm and then I can't remember the wording but it should be a complete service. then confirm and it will reset. if thats not right let me know and I will get you the correct procedure.

The problem here is that the W221 does not have any reset button like many other models do.

I think I've looked at the US manual and did not find the advice any more, the same with my Euro car. But I'm not aware of it being changed, sounds specifically odd if it would have been changed for one particular car instead of another model year. Perhaps you have to try again and follow the instructions accurately.

The 221 is very similar to the 204, press and hold the phone answer button along with the "OK" button for 5 seconds. That will bring up the menu.

The procedure outlined by utiadam worked. I had tried this earlier with no luck so I ignored everything and drove the car a few days When I tried it again it worked first time Thanks
