Greetings from the Highlands of Scotland

Just bought my first Merc from an internet site, an SLK230 with amazingly low miles, (bet the odometer software can be turned back). Having previously been a Morgan fan.
It's mega complicated in compared with Morgans but, believe it or not, cheap in comparison!

I've changed the oil and filter and am now looking at the gearbox and axle stuff.
Seems to me that Mercedes Benz don't like to disclose much technical information for people who want to look after their own vehicles.
Lets hope that Benzworld can help with this!
Kind regards,
Mad Angus.

Hey Mad Angus-

So how cool is driving the roads of Scotland in that SLK 230?!?! Although I have a root or two there, I have not as yet had the pleasure of a visit.

I am still letting the Dealer service my SLK 230, but am tinkering with the sound system, which does not need much. I want to hard-wire an XM Radio. I have an idea of how to do it but am reluctant to disassemble the center console. I hope I too will find some help in Benzworld.

What a change from that Morgan. yes? I see some nice Morgans in the auto shows that come around.
