I've been reading some of the letters from other owners.
I've had this car since 1/1/2008. I noticed that the car had what the mechanic calls a "positive" downshift. That is, you can feel it downshifting. I'm not too fond of this, but am told it's necessary because of the 7 gears and the gear ratios. The car has to be in the right gear at all times for superior acceleration at all speeds. It surely does have that. I'd rather have a smooth downshift, but I guess that's the price paid for the acceleration performance. I've had all the software updated and have been told with smooth driving for awhile, the "memory" in the shifting module will adapt to my driving. Smooth driver, smooth downshift. I do like to accelerate quickly, though. I guess I'll have to decide which is more important.
