95 E320 temperature gauge/thermostat question

Hi. I have a 95 E320 and I was wondering if someone could explain exactly what temperature corresponds with each hash mark on the temperature gauge. Is 80 the third or fourth hash mark from the bottom? I just installed a new thermostat- 192degrees -but it now seems to be running warmer. Could someone please tell me what the normal operating temperature should be and what each of the marks represent. Thank you.
