Hope to be owner from Tacoma, Washington

Hello, I am trying to become a new Mercedes owner. Or better yet an old Mercedes owner. I love the classic styling of the early 70s. I think they are the 108 version. I have looked at some good and some horrrible.
Not every 70's Mercedes is meant to be a classical. The last one I seen had some kind of fiberglass floor boards that allowed(?) fresh air to circulate into the back seat. I turned that one down. Hope to see another this week. I like both 2 door 240 and 250 models but think a four door 280 would be great.

Anyway trying to learn things and see where the problems are. eally good forum and well organized. I will know more when I have a car and can then ask better questions.
But first question is where is best place or any place to get parts for early 70's MB. don't know wht yet but I want to be ready to fix and drive a classic.
thanks
Jim
