JMHO, but I think the single best thing you could do is find someone you trust to drive it every two weeks for 25-30 miles and toss in a little gas and wash it as needed. One of the worst things you can do to a car is let it sit for months at a time -- no matter how you try to prepare it -- and even a light rain or heavy for can trap moisture long enough to cause paint issues under a car cover. Seals dry out, tires rot and develop flat spots, batteries go flat, maybe even if disconnected (and if you disconnect it you lose your alarm and remote, plus you make the computer relearn everything each time you come home) fuel degrades (even with a stabilizer), etc.
And most of those issues are compounded if the car is outside.
Good luck in school and enjoy the ride,
Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. (Winston Churchill)
