Windows go down on their own: E320 4matic wagon

Guys need your help:

I've had several MBs through the years. This last one is a E320 4matic station wagon, its a 2002 with about 112k Miles. It's ben giveing me several problems. I've always been kinda take it to the dealer but latelly the car has ben nicekling and diming me in the tune of about 5k this year alone.

The latest issues;

1- I close the car with the key fob and the windows come down by themselves after about 15 seconds of locking car. I got back in, closed all doors and sunroof, no lock [either manual or key fob] and still all windows open. Happened twice this week, GPS was gone after second time. I thought it was my 4 year old playing with the keys but it happened downtown at at my job yesterday night. Took the car to dealer in Louisville KY and they said it is the PSE valve. I looked everywhere here in the forum, and realized the pse does a lot of things but no mention of getting windows up and down. What else could it be? They want 1100 to change the pse.

2- When I accelerate the car in town with the AC on, the AC stops coming out from the 2 outlets that are together in the center of the dash board. All other vents work ok. After I release the gas pedal the air comes back at full blast. They want 1300 for this fix and no guarantees it will work.

Some part of your PSE system might have failed but you are correct that it has nothing to do with your windows, locks maybe. To me, it sounds like your issues are electrical in nature. Please come and join us in the W210 forum and our gurus will be more than happy to help you.
