Question another Newbie........ :D

Hi Im Dan and I just got me a Vito 108 cdi at the weekend and just glad of advice tips and hints for my Van.
Idrove back fine from Newcastle to cornwall about 420miles and no probs all but ....... the glow plug light stays on and the EDC light is on too, it seems to be that i can get over 3000 revs, Im not sure if the van has a limiter (like commercial vehicles) or ive heard of 'limp mode'? as wont go over about 65-70 mph. but need more info please. Thanks in advance.

Hi Dan. I have the same problem with my vito when I hit 3000rpm. These vans are rubbish as they are made in Spain and are not true Mercedes reliability and build quality. I also have the Glow plug which remains on. I have been informed that they do not last five minutes with the Vito and require a new set sooner than the average diesel.
