E430 A/C Problem

I have a 2000 E430 and I got a weird problem with the A/C. The right vents in the front blow up pretty cold air while the left ones do not. I have noticed the hissing noise coming from the middle vents which I have read on here is supposed to indicate low refrigerant. I have performed the diagnostics test a while ago and everything seemed ok besides a sensor. Any ideas?

If you have good cold air, the refrigerant should be OK.
Replace that sensor. Then try again to see if everything works.

Hi, Ali, welcome to the forum, please use the user cp link to update your profile re: vehicle and location as that is useful information when you're seeking help.

Come join us in the W210 forum, that's the one native to your car: W210 E-Class - Benzworld.org - Mercedes Benz Discussion Forum

At the top of that forum you'll find lots of help stickies, including the one to the diagnostic tools (perhaps the one you ran previously). It's easy enough to run so read through that and run it, then post the results in the 210 forum and the folks there will help you out. That's much better than just trying to figure it out from symptoms, which in your case could be a sensor, a duo valve or low refrigerant (or perhaps more than one).

Take care and enjoy the ride,

Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. (Winston Churchill)
