Hi I am a new member and owner of a 2003 CLK55 with many questions. The car generally runs good aside of a few issues.First and most annoying is the shifting of the auto trans. In Manual mode it short shifts under full throttle at 5900 rpm on its own without me shifting it,while in auto shift mode it sometimes goes up to 6400 before shifting to next gear while doing this you can definitely feel stronger acceleration.I have read that this car would have the best acceleration shifting around 6600 to 6700 rpm.Is there a problem with the shift solenoids one that would only have to do with shifting in manual mode or the electronic plate in trans.Any one with vast knowledge on this issue would be greatly appracited..Joe
