Question Activating the phone in my 99 C230K....

How can this be done? Can it be done with a cell phone? I found the cable in the center console and thought it would be cool to have my phone hooked up to it! HELP!

No, this isn't the 90's anymore. Analog cell phone's have been phased out.

Was it only AMPS in the US (for MB car kits) at 90's? I'm not sure about the wiring compatibility but you should be able to through in a European GSM kit and use it with ViseeO BT with almost any modern phone.

An after market kit would be less expensive but if you want to have something OEM in the car...

Does this car have D2B fibre?

Most if not all MB cars were wired for the phone option, unless there is a cradle it would indicate that the rest of the components are not installed. There are at least four other support components required. The earlier cars that were equipped were non digital so even if they were, it wont support current stuff. maybe this will help
