ML350 Engine check question

hi, i bought my car a week ago, and today i was driving , the check engine light appeared. i was wondering is there something wrong with my SUV? its only 200 miles.Please help..should i trust the MBenz and sent the car to them let them trick me and tell me its just the program problem?

Yes, if the check engine light comes on, there is defintely a problem. Could minor or not so minor. Is this a new vehicle with only 200 miles on it? What are you worried about? The warranty will cover any repair costs.

i mean if the problem is huge..i will argue for a new car man...its only a week..with 200 miles..if there is a problem with my new suv.i wouldnt take it

You can take it to the dealership and get the codes read. Autozone or Advance Auto will also read the codes for free. If you post the codes, I am sure one of us can give you an idea as to what the problem is. As an FYI, I just saw an OBDII scanner at Harbor Freight for $40.
