1998 230 SLK wilver/black
Hello All! I just bought mine last weekend! It's silver w/black interior.
Looks new. A lady physican had it for 9+ years, then another gal for
5 mos. The first gal traded it in along with a tall stack of maintence/
service receipts. There are NO door dings, just a few rock chip dings
on the hood and trunk. Paint is in excellent condition; looks new.
It had 84K on it and I paid 12K. I got a 2 yr. or 24K mile bumper-to-bumper warranty on it, too. I'm hoping I don't have to use that. The dealership has ordered a new drive belt for me; the other has a slight crack.
I just noticed a little dripping of water after I turned the car off
in a parking lot. I was inside the store maybe 15 minutes. I
moved the car to another slot and looked at the puddle. It
appears to be water. I'm hoping this is condensation from the
A/C and not a water pump leak......? No smell and clear, not
oily to the touch.
Anyway, I've ordered custom floor mats, a sun visor and key
chain so far. I bought a can of SeaFoam for the engine that
I'll put in at my next gas fill-up. I bid on and won an original
set of owners manuals, service, etc. the black pouch bag.
I LOVE the low "rumble"....Question: The triangular (engine?) light
comes on when I switch off the ASF button. Doesn't matter whether
I'm in "W" or "S" mode either. Any thoughts on that???
LOVE this car! I think it's made for females.....
I would appreciate any feedback or info regarding the
