Help with 4 different OBD codes

My 2003 CL500 has been throwing the check engine light, so I scanned the codes. Originally is was showing the 0171 and 0174 code (running too lean). I scanned the posts and I checked the MAF first. I swapped the one from my SL500 and to no avail, the codes still would come back. I changed the MAF back.

I also check the gas cap (all good), and checked/cleaned the air filters (all good). After I switched the MAF back and cleaned the air filters, I now am getting 0171, 0172, 1074, and 0175. What's peculiar about it is one set means it's running to lean, while the others mean it's running too rich...rather conflicting messages.

What do you think is doing this? Oxygen sensors? hose leak? I'm relaly trying to avoid taking it to the stealer, but at this point I may have to. The car only has 16,000 miles on it.

.
It is not conflicting if bad MAF is kicking the engine computer all over the scale.
You are not specific how long you drove on the other MAF and did the codes come back after clearing them and on what distance?
Still looks like bad MAF to me. But I am on this side of the screen.

BTW Welcome to the forum.

I drove on the other MAF for about 2 weeks and it threw the same 0101 and 0104 codes. I cleared all the codes multiple times. But when I replaced the original MAF, I now get all 4 codes.

IMHO you have 2 choices.
1. go to the experts and pay them few hundreds for diagnosis
2. buy new MAF for $120 and see if it would solve the problem.
My experience is, that MAF before it triggers CEL can fool engine performance for long time. When I finally replaced MAF on my wagon, the mileage went up 15% comparing to what I averaged on 12,000 miles before.
It is quite possible that used MAF from second car is not performing very well and the first car is just more sensitive to it.
Your codes are typical for MAF failure. They can be triggered by other things like bad coils, injectors but than you'd have 1 code at the time.
This way, or another $120 is still cheaper than diagnosis at stealer. Having 2 cars you will need new MAF sooner or later anyway.
