It may be the technical documents too for the car. An MB that has been manufactured in Sindelfingen just after another one for EU market, but sold in the US can be difficult to be proven fulfilling Euro requirements. You should know it from importing Euro cars to the US. It is obvious where the real differences are but your word isn't sufficient.
