Congratulations on you new car and you're welcome!
Did you mean 2 years/100,000 miles? If so I think that is a fair price because I paid about $2400 for only 12 more months (12 on top of the 12/100,000 that comes with a CPO. So, I therefore had 24 months and 47,000 miles, the car had 53,000 when I bought it.
To answer your "do you think it was worth it question" that depends on the circumstances:
1. How long do you plan to keep the car?
2. How many miles does it have? Depending on your driving habits, you might not have 3 full years because the new car warranty expires at 50,000 miles also (whichever comes first).
Also, the earlier you buy the extension during the new car warranty period the less it costs. Obviously, the least expensive time is if you buy a new car and opt for it then. As new as yours is it looks like you bought yours with only a 10% surcharge; I think the next to the least expensive time.
