60K service warning

My 2003 E320 is showing notice for the H service. I would like to know what is to be done and most importantly how to reset the service warning myself. I have seen where the steering wheel controls are used.

I have a brother with a 1999 E 320. He needs to reset a service indicator for his car. It does not have the steering wheel controls. Can you help me with his car as well?

service warning

How do I reset the service notice myself? Does the manual address this?

On a W211 you can reset the service indicators from the steering wheel. A detailed guide can be found from the W211 forum (MY specific).

On a W210 service indicator is reset with the trip reset button. I'm guessing you would find a detailed guide from the W210 forum.

If you don't have the maintenance booklet that came with your car--and which explains the "services" in detail--you can obtain one by calling 800.for.merc. (USA, of course)
