Angry Help! How to identify transmission number

I have a C240 03. After I fill transmission fluid and use 722.6 dipstick I foun overfill, but after drain 2.5 Q it still overfill a lot, that's impossible. And the car is totally not engage in gears. I doubt its a custom trnsmission, please tell where to find the number type of trnasmission. I only found on the transmission number like: 203 27010000 xxxxxx on the paper id card, nothing near any of the popular 722.9 or 722.x in the normal C and E calss cars.

( I was accidentally drained 2.5 Q of transmission fluid as engine oil, then I refill 2.5 MB factory fluid. but nothing is right.)

I've counted over 20 different 722.6 transmissions. I show a C240 as using a 722.698. I'm not sure how you accidently drained 2.5 quarts, or how you confirmed that exactly 2.5 quarts were drained. However, per the WIS, the transmission fluid level is supposed to be checked at both 25 degrees Celsius, and again at 80 degrees Celsius. At 25 degrees Celsius, the fluid level should be between the Min and Max settings that are at the end of the dipstick. With the fluid at 80 degrees Celsius, the fluid level should be between the Min and Max settings that are further up the dipstick. If the fluid was added, checked, and the temperature was ignored, it could result in problems.

I guess you did find the tranny part number

From your data card you should find the transmission serial number. You can confirm then that the tranny is original for that car. It also includes the tranny model number.

are you sure you are inserting the dipstick in the tranny tube? the dipstick tube for the engine oil is right next to it. and if you check the engine oil level with the tranny dipstick it will be overfilled.
