New non chick mercedes convertible??

Does anyone know if mercedes is planning a true 4 passenger convertible that does not look like a chick car such as a CLK? Anything in the works?

I'll be in the market in 2010 and for my 45th birthday i want a convertible but if Mercedes doesnt stop producing soccer mom cabrios i may have to go to a used Bentley Azure or GTC because the BMW 6 series is butt ugly.

They're not "chick cars" when a self-confident male is at the wheel.

^ Kudos for that comment. If you feel your car is a chick car them man up and mod it if it makes you feel better.

You say "chick car" like its a bad thing.

Buy a Pontiac G6 Convertible and get a membership at the YMCA with the money that's left over.

I like the looks of the CLK. A male neighbor of mine has a silver hardtop W209 CLK55 AMG that's a pretty sharp car. IMO, it looks much better than the W208 body style. I don't know what's in the works for 2010.

Converts are nearly uselss in the North. It's either too cold or too hot. They are generally purchased by men having a mid life crisis (Sebring ring any bells) or chicks trying to look flashy.
