Derek,

How ancient was your Camry? I have a 1991 LX V6 that belonged to my deceased father. There are only 106,000 miles on it because it has always been my 2nd car. Between that and a 1994 Acclaim I drive 20,000 miles per year but each car only sees 10,000 of those.

Hi Musikmann,
My Camry was on the road in the fall of 84 as a 1985 model. This in not the forum but it was truly the best car ever.
Not German engineering and couldn't stop fast enough for the deer and I got the B200 because it can stop for the deer.
It had some great innovations that even my B doesn't have.
I'm hoping the B will be as good.
Cheers, Derek

ps: the B has great flexibility that the Camry didn't have.

I removed the injectors and they look clean even after 100k mi. The injector looks different than what I expected. It has 4 small holes instead of the usual 1 hole with a cap.

I don't recommend anyone doing that. Too much work and too many chances of breaking other things. I sprayed them with injector cleaner and blew them with a can of compresed air. I put everything back and nothing changed. wasted 3 hrs.

I didn't remove the intake manifold. Instead, I bought a can of
B-12 CHEMTOOL® TOTAL COMBUSTION SYSTEM CLEANING KIT. It has a kit that's similar to professional intake cleaning job. It seems to work. I think I'll try a can of BG44K next.

Before you plan to remove the intake & or injectors try some Seafoam, add one full can in your tank and use another can 1/2 in crankcase and pour the other 1/2 directly through PCV line or BB line. This product works great, I've used it on all my cars over the years, when you use it through the PCV or BB line you will create the biggest smoke show you ever seen so it's probably good idea to find a vacant lot or somewhere away from the neighbors because this stuff will most likely cause a few heads to turn. Good Luck!!

Here's the link........Sea Foam

After I did the B-12 CHEMTOOL thing, I tested the car and it was normal. Then when I stepped on the gas and hit the rev to 4000rpm, I saw a huge cloud of smoke in my rear view mirror. I literally smoked the 3 cars(3 lanes) behind me, LOL.
