2001 E320 Transmission Leak

I've posted this before with no replies...does that mean it's out of the "DIY" league? If not, please HELP!

I have tranny fluid leaking from the gear selector lever located toward the rear of the tranny on the driver's side. Transmission is a 722.6. What's involved in removing the lever and replacing the seal and/or bushing? On attached, lever is part #25 and seal is#30. Thanks.

to replace that seal, you need to remove the trans pan, and remove the valve body. once that is done, there is a t30 torx holding the parking pawl (number 20), you remove it and you pull out the lever. then remove and replace the seal. now you will need to drop the tranny down from the rear to have room to do the seal. not remove the tranny, just drop it down.
