I have a 2000 model (built in September 1999). There is no "SRS" button along the ceiling of the car to indicate that curtain air bags are there. The "SRS" is on all doors showing side impact (torso) bags. It is my understanding that curtain head airbags became standard equipment in 1999 models and I have seen some with the "SRS" in the right place.
Are there any 2000 E320 owners out there that don't have the "SRS" along the ceiling showing the presence of curtain airbags? I am very puzzled by this.
The owner's manual shows them in a drawing.
