Question Servicing pneumatic lock (how to unplug Yellow tube)

Hey all, I have some trouble w/ my trunk not opening when i press open trunk button on the dash board (I have W202). I asume that just a gears or something got stuck since I see voltage (curent increase) when trunk is not opened by tutton is pressed, so I wantto take out the lock and play with it. The problem is that lock has pneumatic Yello tube comming to it and I don't know anything about pneumatic locking system. So got couple of questions:

1) how can I disconnect the yellow tube from the lock? I see there is a socket but I dont wanna brake it and loose hermetization afterwards.
2) If I remove the lock, and unplug yellow tube will it case any problems?
3) How the compressor works? Is there any pressure in the tubes when car is off? Is it pumping pressure when I lock/unlock or is there some sort of tank that has compressed air in it?
4)Any other potential problems that I didnt even think of?

Thanks a lot for your help! is offline
