Really?

Like what, engine displacement, wheelbase, what? I reccomend some wiki-reading lad. You can get a full overview of Mercedes Models past and present, as well as history of the brand. See Model Timeline at bottom of page.

The E has for many years been the taxicab of choice in Europe.

The S is the flagship of the line, suitable for high-powered executives.

IMHO once the original owner is finished with an S-class, it should be scrapped, as otherwise it will fall into the hands of someone that cannot afford to maintain it. It's a lot like a used Ferrari.

NOTHING is as old as a previous-generation S-class.

E-class cars make nice cars for several decades.
