When will the 2009 C class reach dealers? Is pricing available? I've been waiting for memory seats.

ASAP, they are considering the next-gen B-Class for the US, and just purchased a factory in Hungary to build more of them. More info:

The first allocations come off the line on 7/15/08. Figure another 28 days to arrive from Germany, and 45 from South Africa. Add six days for the trucks/rail, and we should start seeing them 8/18/08-9/04/08.

Just head down to Mr. K's on K Street, enjoy some Peking Duck and plum wine (and that specially brewed coffee) and get yours on a full stomach.

Yes. So I eate one letter. But, if you have at home MacMillan Dictionary (for advancedlearners), go find "chose". It's the Past Tense of "choose". Both are spelled correctly. Anything else?

Interesting on the B-class, key word for the US is "considering". Not an easy decision, gas prices are not the only consideration for Benz in the US.

Right now, they have some good incentives from Benz, so it's a good time to buy one. 1.9% interest up to 72 months, and $6,000 off sticker (in addition to whatever you can get from the dealer.) Do yourself a favor and get the CDI, unless you mainly make short trips, or live in a cold climate.

Thanks I ended up buying 2008 R350 4Matic for a good price (I think). Unfortunately no CDI's in CA yet.

MBUSA's concept of the American market is different that what Daimler-Mercedes sells to "the rest of the world." And if history is any indicator, MBUSA has some logical reason to not bring the full line into the US.

For instance, the C-Class Coupe was not a big seller here and has no plans to bring the new Brazilian built coupe to the US. The W204 C-Class is their idea of an "entry level" Mercedes. Whether MB builds a car to compete with the BMW 1 Series is yet to be seen.

While it can be frustrating to enthusiasts, MBUSA's choice not to compete at all price points may be a good decision for the brand.
