My understanding is...

that all torque converters were equipped with drain plugs through the 1999 production year; some 2000 model cars, produced in 1999 still have the plug installed.

If you have a 722.6 in a car produced after 01/2000, then odds are against it having a plug.

Beyond that, I dunno...

no, it will say on the top of the radiator. your production date is within the range of those bad radiators. at the dealer we perform a glycol test that results in the amount of glycol in the trans, not just a yes or no answer. after replacing the radiator (which is a MUST) you need to flush trans really well and replace filter. if a droning or shuttering problem still exists you will need a new torque converter $$$$$$$
