Definitely contact your MB regional rep. Many years ago I was stranded in San Diego with a busted differential on my Volvo 1800S (wish I still owned it) and a wife, baby, and a definite date to report to Ft. Devens, MA. For over a week I got the runaround from the local Volvo dealer, mainly that they had to take card of their local customers before transients. Finally, at the urging of my sister-in-law, I called the importer in L. A. He explained that he really had no influence over the dealer, but he'd see what he could do. The next afternoon I got a call that my car was ready! With subsequent problems, I've found that merely mentioning ccalling the regional office got immediqate results.
