Hydrogen as gas additive

Anyone try this method of extending fuel economy?

Frequent Questions--Running Your Car on Water

I wouldn't try it on my Benz but maybe on my older 4runner.

Yes I made my own electrolosys system and installed it onto my 2000 camry. I previously got around 25mpg before hydrogen and get around 32-35mpg now.

Cool. Did you custom make it or did you buy some sort of kit like this one?

I custom made my unit, you can make it yourself for around $50.00 depending on the quality of materials used.

Call me a skeptic, but it would seem to me that if a $50 addition can result in a 30% fuel increase, then all the car companies would be installing it as standard and the guy "selling" the units on the internet would be retired somewhere counting his money.

I completely agree with you on that, I dont understand why this is not a system that is used more often. But I can attest that I did get an increase in mileage when I installed my system. Oil company payoffs I guess.

Plus there is no way to patent the system, since its using electrolysis unless you come up with a completely new delivery system or something of that nature. So if a company put money into developement someone else could steel and use the tech as soon as it came out.
