clk 500 suspension

I just bought an '03 CLK 500 for my wife and she loves it except for the stiff ride.

Is there a recommended mod for the suspension to make the ride super comfy?

Thanks all

No it doesn't have airmatic. I looked at the Bilstein products but they appear to all be heavy duty suspension built for performance vs. comfort.

Your stock OEM shocks are Bilstein and I believe those are for Comfort ride since your car is not an AMG Model. Well you can check again for Bilstein adjustable shocks; adjustable settings. And yes if you are talking about Heavy Duty and Sport Shocks models from Bilstein those are high performance shocks designed to be used with lowering springs such as H&R Sport Spring.

Is the car been lowered?; What's the stock size and series of your tire and how many miles the car have?

One thing you can do is to follow the US tire pressure guidelines on the door post. Mine says to use 27 F/R which surprised me at first, because I have always run at least 30 in all my other cars. The european specs are about +4 psi higher I believe. Lastly, if you find a way to make the car ride "super comfy" I think you will be compromising handling and safety. These beasts were not engineered to ride like Cadillacs or Lincolns. Good Luck!
