This is kinda cool

Hi guys, Thought i would at long last share my special Mercedes 190 D with you.

We use this vehicle every day, people think we are nuts, it just shows what can be done with paint correction when done correctly by professionals.

I only use the best products in the world on her, so she is kept in that brand new condition on the drivers side, i would never use anything else other than the best on my Benz, its Dodo Juice all the way, when someone told me about it, i thought they were as nutty as me, and i got some, WOW is all i can say.

YouTube - Clay Bar, Mercedes 190D Paint Correction, Machine Polishing

This is what the car looked like before we started, well this is after washing the vehicle down.

This shows the roof area before we started

This is the rear of the car before we started with a test patch shown.

This is the front of the car with a test patch shown again.

This is the drivers side (now perfect) but this is before and all these specs are cement, and it had loads of it on the side of the car!!!!!

After she was left to weather and the drivers side had been detailed this is what she is like now, but understand i drive this car its half Blinging and Half Minging

Minging Side, I drive this car every day!!!!

Blinging Side, I drive this car every day!!!!

Cheers.
Richard

So you put wax on one side and mud on the other?
Pictures a bit too big for Internet.

No, we did not, we drive this car every day and this is what has happened to the car after not washing it for over 12 months, people also rub the car, which makes it look like this.

We have not just put wax on the other side at all, the car was in a complete mess, the vehicle had been sat in some ones yard for over 4 years without going on the road, under trees, with a house being re built around it, hence the cement all down one side.

The paint was so bad, even i thought this was going to beet me, being one of Britians best, i thought i had met a challange that even i could not sort out, but never give in, i did it and now i am proud of it,

Thanks for your comments and reply, i am pleased you found this of interest, its such a great fun car to drive, The drivers side, we have done all sorts to this as a detailing company, from simple dent removal, to re stitching the cloth trim with complete invisible repairs, to full paint restoration, even the inside is the same, half detailed and half not.

It is is to show people what can be done with a car by Detailers even when it is in this condition.

Many Thanks for Looking and for replying.

Richard

You're selling something? It's called Dodo Juice? Really?

I wash my cars about twice a year and they are long way from looks of your drivers side.
Than there is long way from not washing to pulling the trims and wheel covers.
In another words I am not sure if you are promoting detaling, or demolution?
I am no stranger to restorations. Recently I am close to the end of restoring 44 years old aluminium travel trailer. The trailer was parked on the yard for about 30 years, with several constructions going in the mean time and on the side of moss growing on it, it still was far from the looks of your driver side.
When you have good base -restoration can be very rewarding. You sure picked up good base.
