Radio Code for 1993 190e using serial #?

Could somebody please help because the dealer is useless. I recently purchased a 1993 190e Sportline SE with a locked radio. I obviously do not have the code card but have every other manual including the radio manual which says the code is 4 digits. Enter it and press the "*" button. I took the car to Mercedes of Laguna Niguel. They ran the VIN # WDBDA29D0PG06320 and they gave me code 2364. The service guy entered it 3 times until we got the HOLD message and said the radio must have been replaced and they will need to pull it to get the serial number. Not wanting to pay an hour for labor I pulled it myself and got the serial numbers: AL2191A1114022 and B01114022. I called the dealer back, they ran it and said the code was 11346. I reminded him that the code is only supposed to be 4 digits and all he could say was "sorry, don't know what to tell you and bring it in and we will take a look at it". The radio has 6 preset buttons (1-6). There is no model number on it but I believe it's a Becker. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Find your radio here - Becker Radio Information

Then click on the Becker link and they have a radio code request form online.

Problem solved, radio code found!

Thanks Sokoloff. I went to Becker's website and found the code request form. Not wanting to spend $30 for another useless 5 digit code, I called customer service first. Turns out the radio is not a Becker but "Mercedes alternate equipment" i.e. ALPINE. Their service rep was extremely helpful and directed me to ALPINE USA. After about 2 minutes on the phone with an ALPINE customer service rep, they gave me a 4 digit code that actually worked and they gave it to me for free. I don't know why the Mercedes dealers' database can't find this code? Anyways, thanks so much for your help Sokoloff!

You think thats bad! I work for Mercedes Roadside and I'll get a call for a fairly newish car (2000, 2001, 2002, ect) and I can't even get the correct radio code either. Then I'm the lucky face who gets to tell the customer (who's right there) that I can't be of any help. That makes us look REALLY good, doesn't it?!
