Alarm sensitivity

I have Mercedes E300 TD (W210) AMG and I would like you to ask you for help.
There is built-in alarm but ist sensitivity is so low that it is not reacting at all.
Is it possible to increase its sensitivity? If yes, how please.
Thanks for your help in advance.

Personally I like the low sensitivity MB alarms better v/s those other that constantly honk on parking lots.
I heard that low sensitivity brings some risk, like somebody reported thief breaking his window and steal expensive audio system without triggering the alarm, but as always in life you can't have everything.
You can add additional alarm, but those aftermarket things can drain the battery in just few days. Our OEM alarms have been on for 5 weeks and the cars still would start.
