help! keyless go problems help!

hey guys im trying to figure out how to use my keyless go. the car is a 03
e500. when i do what the owners manual says it says key not reconized.
it wont lock/unlock and start the car and it says i can roll down the windows but it wont work. what can i do? do i have to have them programmed at the dealer? help me out guys! thanks.

First thing to do is replace the batteries inside the KG card.

well the keyless entry works fiine just not the keyless go.
