Am I Just A Retard?

I gotta c230k and the sun roof in it is kinda peculiar unless im just really dumb. Anyways its got the sliding interior headliner under the glass like all sun roofs do, but theres no handle in this to slide it back but keep the glass closed at the same time. I cant imagine that the only way to open the headliner is to open the sun roof as well, because when u just "angle" the sun roof the headliner is angled as well out of the car and its kinda of dumb because u just get the small crack of light through. I cant figure this one out, and im embarrassed just to even ask but does anyone know if this is how its sposed to be or is there a way that i just havent figured out.

Better to wait for comments from C-class owners but all my MBs have had a "handle" for the sliding headliner.

No Need to be Embarrassed. That is the function of this Forum. To ASK a question.

My C230 DOES have a Handle ( recessed ) in the Sliding Headliner.
When I open my Sunroof, it will Automatically retract the Headliner.

But if I just want the Headliner Pulled Back to look at the Stars or Sky
I DO NOT have to have the Sun Roof pulled back.

I wonder why your's does not? That is very strange.

You might have a "sun roof" not a "moon roof"

There are tests to diagnose that condition. Just kidding.

My last loaner car was an 07 C230 Sport and it had the handle.

try putting upward preasure on the headliner with your palm and slide it back, it sounds like the handle was never installed or lost by the P/O.
